These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Rawi mobile application ("the app") developed by Yusuf Algan Design FZ-LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Rawi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall prevail to the extent required by Apple.
Rawi is an iOS application that uses on-device AI to identify Quranic verses from audio recitation. The app provides verse identification, translations, tafsir (commentary), and a verse history feature. All audio processing occurs entirely on your device.
Rawi uses AI-based speech recognition and text matching. Verse identification is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate.
While we strive for high accuracy, Rawi's identifications may contain errors due to audio quality, recitation style, background noise, or limitations of the underlying AI model. You should not rely solely on Rawi for Quranic study, religious rulings, or any purpose where absolute textual accuracy is required. Always verify verses with authoritative printed or scholarly sources.
We make no representations or warranties that the app's identifications, translations, or tafsir commentaries are free from error.
The Quranic Arabic text included in Rawi is the public domain Uthmani script of the Holy Quran. Translations and tafsir commentaries are sourced from publicly available scholarly works. We make reasonable efforts to attribute and respect the rights of original authors and translators.
The Rawi app, its design, code, branding, and non-Quranic content are the intellectual property of Yusuf Algan Design FZ-LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app without prior written permission.
You agree to use Rawi in a manner that is:
Rawi offers a one-time in-app purchase ("Rawi Pro") that unlocks additional features including all translations and tafsir commentaries, unlimited verse history, and iCloud sync. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.
Rawi Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There are no recurring charges. Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as we do not process payments directly.
Your use of Rawi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data the app collects and how it is used. By using the app, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described therein.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rawi and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including but not limited to:
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the applicable rules and regulations of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
